New
to Rendezvous Back to Route 66 on Saturday, October 11, 2014 is the addition of
a Motorsports Racing display. This
display will feature actual race cars and drivers that currently race with
NHRA, NASCAR, and more. See displays of
dragsters, stock cars, sprint and midget race cars, and a throwback display of
nostalgia dragsters.
This
year we will welcome three drivers along with their cars from Irwindale
Speedway’s NASCAR National Championship Lucas Oil Late Model division. Ryan Partridge, from Rancho Cucamonga, who is
the current points leader, Toni McCray, from Highland, who is only 18 points
behind Ryan and Christian McGhee, from Claremont currently in third place.
From
drag racing, our featured drivers will be Eddie Fischle who will be in attendance
with the MAVTV Dragster as well as the Lucas Oil Dragster that is currently
being driven by brothers Brian and Matt Fischle who will also be on hand for
the event. Also on display will be the
Sand Dragster sponsored by Lucas Oil and MAVTV and owned by Gregg Suyenaga and
driven by Zach Bogner and Victoria Suyenaga.
